I found myself needing to burn a series of mega328p microcontrollers so I designed this simple ZIF socket based tool that uses the Atmel ISP II programmer. As my own board manufacturing facility is unavailable at this time (I am changing from chemical etching to milled PCBs) I had the boards manufactured as cheap prototypes.

Pretty simple!The power suppkly can be 3.3V to 5V and the component values, including the crystal frequency, are not particularly critical.
